Finish setup

MesGora needs a few Android permissions so it can send your scheduled messages on time — even when your screen is off. Here's each one, with screenshots.

Open MesGora → the checklist screen (the red "Finish setup" banner, or the sliders icon at the top). Tap Enable, Fix or Open on each item below — the checklist re-checks itself automatically when you come back.

1 Accessibility service Required

This is the key one — it lets MesGora open WhatsApp and press Send for you at the scheduled time. Without it, nothing can be sent.

  1. Tap Enable on the "Accessibility service" row.
  2. Read the short disclosure, then tap Continue.
  3. Android opens Accessibility → Installed apps. Tap MesGora.
  4. Turn the toggle On and confirm Allow.

Note: Android switches this off again after every app update — just come back here and re-enable it. MesGora reminds you if it's off.

2 Battery — unrestricted Required

Stops your phone from putting MesGora to sleep in the background (which would silently switch the accessibility service off and miss your sends).

  1. Tap Fix on the "Battery — unrestricted" row.
  2. On the app's battery screen, choose Unrestricted (or "Don't optimise" / "Allow").

3 Notifications Recommended

Shows a live progress notification while a send runs, with a Stop control. On most phones this is already on.

  1. If not green, tap the row and allow notifications for MesGora.

4 Exact alarms Recommended

Lets scheduled messages fire at the exact minute you set (Android 12+). Usually granted automatically.

  1. If prompted, allow "Alarms & reminders" for MesGora.

5 Your phone brand's battery setting Required on most phones

Every brand hides one extra battery switch that blocks background sending. Find your brand below and follow the exact taps — this is the #1 reason scheduled messages don't send.

vivo & iQOO
  1. Open Settings ▸ Apps ▸ MesGora (or long-press the MesGora icon ▸ App info).
  2. Tap Battery usage.
  3. Tap Background power control.
  4. Choose Allow background power usage ✓
What you'll see — three choices. vivo starts on "Background power smart control", which decides for itself when to freeze MesGora, so scheduled sends stop once the screen is off:

Auto-start: on newer vivo phones (Android 15/16) there is no separate auto-start list any more — setting "Allow background power usage" above is what matters. If your phone does have Settings ▸ Apps ▸ Auto-start, switch MesGora on there too.
Xiaomi, Redmi & POCO
  1. In MesGora's checklist tap Open on "Auto-start", find MesGora and switch it On.
  2. Open App info ▸ Other permissions and turn ON Display pop-up windows while running in the background.
  3. In App info ▸ Battery saver choose No restrictions.

  1. Long-press the MesGora icon ▸ App info, tap Battery and choose Unrestricted. This one setting already stops Samsung from sleeping MesGora.
  2. Belt & braces: open Settings ▸ Battery ▸ Background usage limits ▸ Never sleeping apps, tap + and add MesGora so it's explicitly whitelisted.

Tip: if you picked Unrestricted in step 1, MesGora is already exempt — it may not even show up in the "Never sleeping apps" add-list, which is expected. You're all set either way.
Oppo, realme & OnePlus
  1. Open App info ▸ Battery.
  2. Turn ON Allow background activity (and Allow auto-launch if shown).
Huawei & Honor
  1. Open Settings ▸ Battery ▸ App launch.
  2. Switch MesGora to Manage manually and turn ON all three: Auto-launch, Secondary launch, Run in background.
Other brands (Motorola, Nokia, Pixel…)
  1. Open App info ▸ Battery and choose Unrestricted / Don't optimise. That's usually all these phones need.

✓ That's it

When the top banner turns green — "All requirements met — you can schedule" — you're ready. Tap Schedule and set your first message.

One more thing: if your phone has a lock screen PIN/pattern/password, keep it unlocked around the scheduled time — MesGora can't tap through a locked screen to send.
